Vancian Wizard Duel

Two magicians, one bench, ten spells out of the Dying Earth.

The duel begins. Wizard 1 acts first.

Every casting is checked against a six-sided die: four or better and the spell takes hold, otherwise the syllables come apart and the mana is spent regardless. A wizard recovers one mana at the end of their own turn.
