Analysis Rubric

This rubric will be used to evaluate your stakeholder analysis submission.

Criteria Exceeds Expectations (3) Meets Expectations (2) Needs Improvement (1)
Coverage Identifies 4+ distinct and relevant groups including "invisible" users (e.g., maintenance staff). Identifies major user groups (PIs, Students) but misses support roles. Misses key stakeholder groups.
Depth of Empathy Needs & pain points are specific, nuanced, and clearly derived from interviews or deep research. Needs are generally accurate but generic (e.g., "needs a desk"). Needs are superficial or based on assumptions.
Synthesis Articulates complex trade-offs and conflicts between groups with proposed resolutions. Identifies conflicts but offers no path to resolution. Fails to identify conflicting needs between groups.
